Jil Sander-Glo? Design News at Uniqlo

March 20, 2009

Since living in Tokyo for two years and now in NYC, I have become a  huge fan of Uniqlo. Minimalist designs meet fun colors and any urban wallet can afford. Let us talk today about the future,” Jil Sander, clad in a black knee-length coat, said. “I’m here in Tokyo for something completely different. The challenge for me is to establish a premium quality in a democratically-priced range.” Taken from Spring 2005 Jil Sander, could we be seeing more of this?  We’ll have to find out.

All the front-row ladies—Leigh Lezark, Daisy Lowe, Selma Blair—have been spotted in Kirkwood’s mighty high architectural stilettos and cantilevered platform heels. Is Nicholas Kirkwood ready to step into the French maestro’s shoes? Style.com’s All The New That’s Fit To Print thinks so! They put together a really neat preview of what’s new for Spring 2009 and more like, Susie Bubble’s The Next Blah Blah Blah.
